Lok Mela to Showcase Cultural Diversity at Lok Virsa in Islamabad

Islamabad: The annual Lok Mela will be held at Lok Virsa in Islamabad from 7th to 16th of next month. Organized by the National Institute of Folk and Traditional Heritage, the festival will mark the Golden Jubilee of Lok Virsa’s establishment.

According to Radio Pakistan, artisans, folk musicians, and performers from across the country will participate in the event. Cultural pavilions from all provinces, including Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir, will showcase regional crafts, music, and traditional foods. An international pavilion featuring participants from 12 countries will also be part of the festival.

Special arrangements have been made for security and facilitation of visitors, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
