Malir River Bridge and Road Undergo Repairs to Ease Traffic

Karachi: The Karachi Metropolitan Corporation’s Engineering Department has commenced the rehabilitation and repair work on the Malir River Bridge and the adjoining road following directives from Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab. The project aims to repair and resurface the road from Anwar Baloch Hotel to Murghi Khan Bus Stop and address necessary repairs on the Malir River Bridge, ensuring a clear pathway for vehicular traffic. The road construction is anticipated to be completed within ten days, during which the road will be temporarily closed to traffic. Mayor Wahab emphasized the urgency of the project to facilitate smoother movement for citizens, aiming to reduce travel time and save fuel.

According to Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, Mayor Wahab has underscored the importance of expediting the road construction and repair projects across the city, addressing the inconvenience caused by damaged roads. He has instructed the Engineering Department to implement effective strategies to ensure timely completion of development projects, thereby enhancing the infrastructure and providing maximum facilities to citizens.
