Polio Eradication Efforts Intensify in Ziarat District

Ziarat: Deputy Commissioner Liaquat Ali Kakar conducted an inspection of various areas within Union Council Ziarat to oversee the progress of the ongoing anti-polio campaign. The initiative has been gaining momentum in the district, with an emphasis on collaborative efforts between the government and parents to ensure its success.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Deputy Commissioner Kakar emphasized the critical nature of the campaign, noting that polio remains a significant threat to children’s health in the region. He reiterated that eradicating this disease is a primary responsibility shared by the entire community. The government has initiated measures on an urgent basis to combat the spread of polio, aiming for its complete eradication.
