Mandokhail Calls for Modern Border Infrastructure to Boost Pak-Iran Trade

Quetta: Balochistan Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhail has emphasized the need to expand and modernize infrastructure to support border trade and establish additional markets along the Pakistan-Iran border. Talking to the newly appointed Iranian Consul General in Quetta, he stated that trade forms a strong foundation of bilateral relations and improved land connectivity between Pakistan and Iran could be a ‘game changer’ for regional economic growth.

According to Radio Pakistan, Jaffar Mandokhail highlighted that land routes between the two neighboring countries offer a unique opportunity to increase bilateral trade. He added that expanding economic activity along the border could significantly help reduce poverty and unemployment in Balochistan.
