Srinagar, June 15, 2023 (PPI-OT): The New Delhi-controlled Special Investigation Unit (SIU) presented charge sheet against three youth including a martyr before a court of dreaded National Investigation Agency in Srinagar.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the SIU presented the charge sheet under black law, Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act at Soura Police Station, Srinagar, against three youth including one among them Adil Ahmed Parray who was martyred by Indian troops in June 2022. Indian police claimed on May 24, 2022 that unknown persons fired upon one Indian policeman namely Saifullah Qadri in Srinagar killing him on spot.
The police in the FIR blamed Basit Ahmed Dar, Momin Gulzar Mir and Adil Ahmed Parray for the attack. One of the youth namely Adil Ahmed Parray was martyred by Indian police in Sangam area of Srinagar on 12 June, 2022.
