Mayor Karachi Defends Roadworks Amid Allegations Against KMC’s Technical Services

Karachi: Mayor Karachi, Barrister Murtaza Wahab, declared that road construction efforts are progressing in several areas of Karachi.

According to Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, resurfacing activities are taking place near the PSO petrol pump and Kemari Gate No. 2 in Shireen Jinnah Colony to enhance local residents’ convenience. These initiatives are part of the ongoing improvements visible across the city, reflecting Karachi’s increasing vibrancy.

Wahab emphasized that the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation is committed to completing development projects promptly, aiming to improve daily commutes for citizens. The road conditions and traffic congestion in Shireen Jinnah Colony prompted an urgent decision for complete resurfacing near Keamari Gate No. 2, with accelerated work set for completion soon. The mayor affirmed that prioritizing the interests of Karachi’s citizens remains central, with all available resources dedicated to this cause.
