Mayor of Karachi Extends Diwali Greetings to Hindu Community

Karachi: Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab has conveyed his congratulations to the Hindu community in Pakistan and around the globe on the occasion of Diwali, a festival symbolizing unity, peace, and joy. He emphasized the shared celebration of this festival, acknowledging the significant contributions of the Hindu and scheduled caste communities to Pakistan’s development.

According to Karachi Metropolitan Corporation, Mayor Wahab highlighted the Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) commitment to defending the rights of religious minorities and promoting religious tolerance. The PPP has included members of the Hindu community in government and administrative roles, reflecting the party’s mission to ensure inclusive participation in the democratic process.
