Meeting chairs by Tahir Sikander to review arrangements for providing excellent facilities to pilgrims

Peshawar, July 27, 2016 (PPI-OT):A meeting was chaired by Airport Manager Tahir Sikander here at Bacha Khan Int’l Airport, Peshawar to review the arrangements for providing excellent facilities to pilgrims. CSO Shad Nawaz Khattak, Deputy APM Shabir Ahmad, Joint Director Syed Lateef Ul Haq, Director Hajj Shakeel Ahmad Sethi, Hajj Officer Bahadar Khan, District Administration staff, Traffic Police, PID, Police, Custom, Anti Narcotics, Health and representative of the concerned airlines were present on the occasion.

Presiding the meeting APM Tahir Sikander said that pilgrims will be brought to Saudia through 68 flights of PIA, Saudia Airline, Air Blue and Shaheen Airlie. He said that Hajj operation will start from 4th August and will continue till 05 September, 2016.

218 pilgrims will be departed by first flight of Air Blue on 4th August on Thursday at 01:30 pm for Madina, first flight of Shaheen Airline will leave on 4th August at 10:30 pm, first flight of PIA will leave on 5th August at 02:15 pm while first Hajj flight of Saudi Airline will leave for Jaddah on 6th August at 05:00 pm, APM stated.

He said that the relatives of the pilgrims should not bothered to come to Airport as the construction work is continue in the airport and there is not much capacity. The Director Hajj, Shakeel Ahmad Sethi said that the pilgrims will be administered polio drops here in Hajji Camp, Hayatabad. SP Traffic Police said that more troops will be deployed than last year in the surrounding of BKIA, Peshawar.
