Rajouri Villagers Protest Over Unrepaired Path, Demand Immediate Action

Jammu, In the village of Thannamang, Rajouri district, residents staged a protest against local authorities’ failure to repair a crucial path damaged during construction works, severely impacting daily life.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the protest took place under the jurisdiction of Darhal tehsil. The villagers reported that the path, essential for over 2,000 residents and their animals, was destroyed by the authorities while building a filtration plant, leaving the community without adequate access to essential services.

The residents are calling for the immediate restoration of the pathway, pressing the occupation authorities to rectify the damage and alleviate the hardships faced by the villagers.
