Meeting on provision of water supply and covering main holes during the days of Rabi-Ul-Awal

Karachi, January 11, 2013 (PPI-OT): KW and SB Department KMC was directed to improve the sewerage condition and cover open main holes especially in the routes of central processions on various locations in the month of Rabi-ul-Awal whereas the necessary arrangements for water supply through water boozers should be done on the occasion of Rabi-ul-Awal central gathering.

In this connection a meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Administrator KMC Muhammad Hussain Syed with the prominent Ulmas and organizers of Ahle Sunnat wal Jamaat regarding civic arrangements during the days of Rabi-ul-Awal 1434 Hijri. Besides others the participants have immense apprehension on water shortage and open main holes at different locations and it will cause inconvenience for the processions during the days of Rabi-ul-Awal.

Following the directive of Administrator Karachi, Chief Officer Matanat Ali Khan has directed Managing Director Water Board to make proper arrangements for the resolution of these complains so that citizens would not have to face any inconvenience during the month of Rabi-ul-Awal.
