Mehmood Textile Mills Limited to Hold Board Meeting to Appoint CEO and Reconstitute Board Committees

Karachi, Mehmood Textile Mills Limited has announced that a meeting of the Board of Directors will take place on July 6, 2023, in Multan. The primary agenda of the meeting is to address the appointment of a new CEO to fill the casual vacancy as per the provisions of Section 187 of the Companies Act 2017. The vacancy arose due to the unfortunate and untimely demise of Khawaja Muhammad Iqbal Sahib.

In addition to the CEO appointment, the Board will also discuss the reconstitution of the Board Committees. These Committees play a vital role in overseeing various aspects of the company’s operations and ensuring effective governance.

To comply with the regulations set forth by the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), Mehmood Textile Mills Limited has declared a “Closed Period” from July 4 to July 6, 2023. During this period, which includes both days, no Director, CEO, or Executive shall engage in any dealings, directly or indirectly, involving the shares of the company.
