Metropolitan Steel Corp. to Review Annual Accounts in Upcoming Board Meeting

Karachi: The Metropolitan Steel Corporation Limited has announced a scheduled board meeting on September 25, 2024, in Karachi. The primary agenda will be to review the annual accounts for the period that concluded in June 2024 and to discuss the declaration of any entitlements.

This crucial gathering of the company’s directors will scrutinize the financial outcomes of the year, as the fiscal period drew to a close this past June. Speculations about potential dividends or other entitlements will be addressed, marking a significant financial milestone for the company.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the company has also instituted a “Closed Period” from September 19 to September 25, as stipulated under section 5.6.1(d) of the PSX Regulations. During this period, directors, the CEO, and executives are prohibited from buying or selling company shares, directly or indirectly.
