Minorities enjoying equal rights in country: Ashrafi

Chairman of Pakistan Ulema Council, Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi says minorities are enjoying equal rights and opportunities in the country.

Talking to newsmen in Lahore today, he urged international institutions for legislation to stop desecration of the Holy Quran.

He also stressed for legislation related to Islamophobia.

He said that we all are united for the stability and development of Pakistan.

He said Muslims believe in all divine holy books, prophets, and have respect for all religions.

He lauded role of security forces for rendering their sacrifices to restore peace in the country.
