MNAs Praise PM Shehbaz Sharif for Enhancing Pakistan’s Global Image at SCO

Islamabad: MNAs from various political parties have lauded Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s commanding role at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit, raising Pakistan’s international stature.

According to Radio Pakistan, MQM MNA Asia Ishaq praised the prime minister’s diplomatic approach, which exposed India’s efforts to sideline the Kashmir dispute. PPP MNA Mirza Ikhtiar Baig highlighted that the visit strengthened Pakistan’s image as a responsible regional power.

Agha Rafiullah, a member of the PPP, remarked that Shehbaz Sharif’s engagements with leaders, especially China and Russia, demonstrated Pakistan’s deep ties with key regional powers and sent a clear message of unity and strategic direction. Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) MNA Shahida Akhtar Ali said the Prime Minister’s voice for Palestine resonates strongly at the forum and reflects Pakistan’s principled stand on the Muslim cause.

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti also praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for effectively highlighting the issue of foreign-sponsored terrorism in Balochistan at the international level. In a statement on social media platform X, the Chief Minister said Shehbaz Sharif’s efforts to present Balochistan’s case globally are highly commendable.
