Bannu: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has commended the officers and personnel of the security forces for killing terrorists in response to the attack on the Frontier Constabulary headquarters in District Bannu by India-backed Khawarij militants. In a statement today, he expressed deep sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of six soldiers from the Frontier Constabulary and the Pakistan Army during the operation.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Prime Minister said the nation stands with the families of the martyrs in this difficult time, and shares their grief equally. He reaffirmed the nation’s resolve to continue the war against terrorism until this menace is completely eradicated from the country.
He said that the armed forces of Pakistan are tirelessly engaged day and night in cleansing the homeland from terrorists. Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with armed forces in the firm resolve to eliminate terrorism from the country.
