Modern Technology Enhances Immigration Process Efficiency

Islamabad: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has stated that modern technology has significantly streamlined the immigration process, with stringent measures being enforced against the use of counterfeit travel documents.

According to Radio Pakistan, Naqvi shared these insights during an unannounced visit to Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore. During his visit, he reviewed the current immigration procedures and inspected several counters to ensure efficiency and compliance.

In his directives, Mohsin Naqvi emphasized the importance of keeping all immigration counters operational to facilitate smoother and faster processing for passengers. The minister’s visit underscores the government’s commitment to leveraging technology for improved service delivery while ensuring the integrity of immigration processes.
