Modi Accused of Buying MLAs and Toppling Governments: Kharge.

Ranchi: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge launched a sharp attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing him of oppressing the opposition, toppling elected governments, and using unethical means to consolidate power.

According to Kashmir Media Service, addressing rallies in Jharkhand, Kharge said that Modi’s modus operandi is clear: he topples democratically elected governments, buys MLAs “like goats,” feeds them, and later exploits them for his own gain.

Kharge also criticized Modi’s government for unleashing central agencies like the ED, CBI, and others to target opposition leaders. “But let me be clear: we are not afraid. We fought for India’s independence, and we will not be cowed down,” he stated.

The Congress President further targeted Home Minister Amit Shah, claiming that both Modi and Shah are running the government with the support of industrialists like Adani and Ambani.

Kharge also called Modi a habitual liar who fails to fulfill his promises.

“We have been tolerating Modi for 25 years as CM and PM. He supports those who exploit backward people and women. PM Modi is afraid to visit Manipur. I dare him to go there,” he added.
