Modi regime has made lives of Kashmiris miserable: Mushaal Mullick

Muzaffarabad, June 02, 2023 (PPI-OT): The Chairperson of Peace and Culture Organization, Mushaal Hussein Mullick, has said that Narendra Modi-led Hindutva Indian government has ruined the lives of people of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

Mushaal Hussein Mullick, who is the wife of illegally detained Hurriyat leader Muhammad Yasin Malik, visited a Kashmiri refugee camp at Mankpiyaan in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. Vice Chairman of Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir Usman Ali Hashim; Head of Women Wing Mahnaz Qureshi; Principal Read Foundation Khawaja Muhammad Sadiq; teachers Shahnaz Qazi, Rafat Farooq, Nasreen Altaf, Aasma Bibi, Kausar Hakim Din, Muhammad Fayyaz Khan, Faisal Farooq Sheikh, Muhammad Ishaq Shaheen, and a large number of women and children welcomed her.

On the occasion, Mushaal Hussein Mullick, while talking about the plight of the people of IIOJK said the Modi government is committing the worst atrocities in the occupied territory. She maintained that despite all the Indian brutalities, the morale of Kashmiris is high and they are determined to take the freedom to its logical conclusion.

She said Muhammad Yasin Malik is facing life sentence in Tihar Jail and India is subjecting him to vengeance to break his resolve of freedom, but he is firm in his stand on the Kashmir dispute.

Usman Ali Hashim, Mehnaz Qureshi, Khawaja Muhammad Sadiq and others in their addresses said that the criminal silence adopted by the world on the worsening human rights situation in IIOJK is deplorable. They said that the international community should take cognizance of the plight of the Kashmiri detainees and play its role in their release.

People on the occasion raised high-pitched slogans like “Release Yasin Malik – Release Yasin Malik”, “Kashmiris will not rest till they achieve freedom”, “Usurper India – Leave Jammu and Kashmir”.
