Mohsin Naqvi’s surprise visit to free flour centers in Lahore, Sambaryal and Sialkot reviewed the supply of free flour

Lahore, March 27, 2023 (PPI-OT):Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi today made surprise visits to free flour centers in Lahore, Sambaryal and Sialkot. Mohsin Naqvi visited Model Bazar, Thokar Niaz Beg Laho Rakka. Later Mohsin Naqvi visited the free flour centers at Rehmat Hall, Sambarial Road and Anwar Club, Sialkot.

Citizens piled up complaints about the non-availability of flour in Sambriyal Road Rehmat Hall, on which Mohsen Naqvi expressed his anger and directed to ensure the immediate presence of the flour truck at the center. In the presence of Mohsen Naqvi, the truck should take the flour immediately. Kar reached the center and distributed 2, 2 bags of 10 kg flour to the citizens absolutely free.

Mohsen Naqvi noted the complaints and gave instructions to his staff for redressal. Mohsin Naqvi observed the arrangements for the distribution of Zapermaft flour at the centre. Mohsin Naqvi asked the citizens about the availability and facilities of flour. The citizens also complained about non-certification in the Benazir Income Support Programme.

Naqvi asked the citizens about the arrangements at the distribution points. Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that an effective mechanism has been created to stabilize the prices of other essential commodities. There is shortage of fruits due to floods, we are importing fruits. There should be no interruption in the supply of free flour.

Citizens at the centers should get flour in any case. The purpose of the visits to the free flour centers is to review the facilities and improve the situation. Earlier, Mohsin Naqvi paid a surprise visit to Model Bazar Thokar Niaz Baig and reviewed the arrangements for providing free flour and inquired about the supply of flour from men and women. Men and women complained about registration in the Benazir Income Support Program and non-verification of identity cards. Mohsin Naqvi listened to the complaints of the citizens and issued instructions to resolve them on the spot.

Mohsin Naqvi said that by talking to the officials of the federal government and the Benazir Income Support Program The problem is being solved and the arrangements at the centers are being further improved. He directed that the citizens should be provided with flour in a dignified manner and additional staff should be appointed for the convenience of the citizens.

Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that immediate action will be taken on the complaints of misbehaviour at the centers. Citizens coming to the centers should be guided and not be driven around. Sale of essential commodities should be ensured at fixed prices and zero tolerance policy should be adopted against profiteers and hoarders.

Mohsin Naqvi personally verified the identity cards of some men and women and also checked the weight of the bag of flour. He said that citizens are getting real relief from the historic Ramadan relief package of the federal and Punjab government.
