Islamabad, The Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan reported minor fluctuations in the buying and selling rates of major currencies including the USD, EURO, GBP, JPY, AED, and SR, comparing figures from May 14 and 15, 2024.
According to Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan, the US dollar buying rate decreased slightly from 277.02 on May 14 to 276.93 on May 15, while the selling rate saw a minimal change. The EURO buying rate increased from 297.05 to 298.12, and the selling rate rose accordingly. The GBP showed an increase in both buying and selling rates, rising from 345.59 to 346.94 on the buying end, and from 348.81 to 350.19 on the selling end.
Other currencies such as the Japanese Yen (JPY), United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED), and Saudi Riyal (SR) remained stable with very slight changes in their buying and selling rates. The Interbank rate also showed minor variation, inching from 278.18 to 278.26 for buying and 278.38 to 278.46 for selling.
