Lahore: Muharram-ul-Haram moon was not sighted anywhere in the country today; therefore, 1st of Muharram-ul-Haram 1448 AH will fall on Wednesday.
According to Radio Pakistan, this was announced by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, which met in Lahore this evening. The committee’s decision means that Youm-e-Ashura will be observed on the 26th of this month.
