Paris: A delegation of the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists (PFUJ), led by its President Rana Azeem, called on the Ambassador of Pakistan to France Mumtaz Zahra Baloch in Paris. Welcoming the delegation, the Ambassador underscored that PFUJ has an important and responsible role in promoting ethical journalism, noting that media serves as a lifeline of any democratic society. She said the media has a significant contribution in projecting a positive image of Pakistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Ambassador briefed the delegation on Pakistan-France relations and highlighted the Embassy’s efforts to enhance cooperation in the fields of trade, culture, academia, and media. She also shared Pakistan’s initiatives at UNESCO and its engagement in the areas of communication and information.
