Murtaza Solangi asks UN to honour promises made to Kashmiri people

Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi has asked the United Nations to honour the promises made to the Kashmiri people and support their struggle for self-determination.

In his message on the occasion of Right to Self Determination Day said, he said the people of Jammu and Kashmir await the peaceful resolution of the Kashmir dispute as per the resolutions of the UN Security Council which should fulfill its commitments.

The Information Minister said India is trying to strengthen its grip on illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. He pointed out that the recent decision of the Indian Supreme Court regarding the status of the disputed territory is the latest step in this direction. He said India is leaving no stone unturned to change the demography of of illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir on the basis of religion.

The Information Minister reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to continue to support Kashmiris politically, diplomatically and morally till they get their rightful rights and the suc
cess of their freedom struggle.
