Musadik Malik Directs to Develop Framework for Animal Welfare

Islamabad: Minister for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination Dr. Musadik Malik has directed the development of a comprehensive framework for animal welfare in the country.

According to Radio Pakistan, Dr. Malik chaired the first meeting of the Committee on Cruelty to Animals in Islamabad today. He emphasized the need to collect data from all provinces and conduct a thorough legal review to identify and address gaps in existing animal welfare laws.

Dr. Malik also instructed the integration of knowledge and recommendations from activists and experts in the field of animal welfare into policy planning.
