Musadik Reiterates Commitment to Transparent, Inclusive Carbon Markets

Islamabad: Minister for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination, Musadik Malik has reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to develop a transparent and inclusive carbon market aligned with the global climate agenda. Speaking during a meeting with the delegation of “Supporting Preparedness for Article 6 Cooperation” in Islamabad today, he said Pakistan is determined to strengthen its institutional and technical readiness to participate effectively in international carbon markets under Article six of the Paris Agreement.

According to Radio Pakistan, Musadik Malik emphasized the importance of aligning national efforts with global best practices and deepening partnerships with both international collaborators and the domestic private sector.
