Shigar: Minister for Climate Change Musadik Malik has visited district Shigar, Baltistan along with a high-level delegation from the United Nations Development Programme. He reviewed various projects under Glacial Lake Outburst Flood-11 Project in Shigar Valley, including the installation of early warning systems, protective embankments, and other related initiatives.
According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister appreciated efforts of all stakeholders, Gilgit Baltistan government and local administration for their unwavering resilience building efforts against recurring incidents of glacial lake outburst floods.
