Mastung: Two levies personnel, deputed on polio campaign security, were martyred when unknown gunmen opened fire on them in Mastung on Wednesday. Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on the Anti-Polio team in Mastung.
According to Radio Pakistan, in a statement, the Prime Minister expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of the Levies personnel assigned to the security of the team. Shehbaz Sharif stated that terrorists who harm the lives and properties of innocent people are enemies of humanity and will be brought to justice.
He emphasized that such incidents cannot deter the government’s commitment to eradicating polio from the country. The Prime Minister urged the public not to lose hope and to protect their children’s future by ensuring they receive polio drops. Shehbaz Sharif affirmed that the anti-polio campaign will continue with determination.
