Mushaal Malik Commits to Advancing Gilani’s Vision on Martyrdom Anniversary

Islamabad: During the third martyrdom anniversary of renowned Kashmiri leader Shaheed Syed Ali Gilani, Mushaal Malik, a prominent Hurriyat leader, paid homage to Gilani’s enduring legacy and reiterated her commitment to perpetuate his mission towards Kashmiri self-determination. Malik highlighted Gilani’s role not only as a leader but as a symbol of resistance and inspiration for the Kashmiri struggle for freedom.

According to Kashmir Media Service, Malik delivered a poignant message remembering Gilani, who she described as a courageous leader who dedicated his life to the Kashmir cause. Gilani, she noted, embodied the roles of a thinker, visionary, revolutionary, and a symbol of sacrifice and victory. His name and mission have inspired countless Kashmiris to advocate for their rights and freedom.

Malik stressed the profound impact of Gilani’s vision and his iconic slogans on the ongoing movement for self-determination in Kashmir. She recounted Gilani’s slogans, “Pakistan Humara hai, hum Pakistani hain” and “Na biknay walay hain, na jhuknay walay hain”, which translate to “Pakistan is ours, we are Pakistanis” and “We will neither sell out nor surrender”, respectively. These slogans, she said, continue to resonate with and motivate the Kashmiri people.

Moreover, Malik assured that the sacrifices made by the Kashmiri people would not be in vain and emphasized that Gilani’s sacrifices would continue to propel the movement until the Kashmiri people achieve their desired goals of dignity and autonomy.
