Mushaal Urges Intervention to Stop Execution of Yasin Malik

New delhi: Chairperson of the Peace and Culture Organization and wife of jailed Kashmiri leader Mohammad Yasin Malik, Mushaal Hussein Mullick, has reached out to Indian National Congress General Secretary Mrs. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. She is urging her to take action before November 10 to halt the execution proceedings against her husband.

According to Radio Pakistan, Mushaal Mullick emphasized in her letter that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s previous actions, including the revocation of Articles 370 and 35A, have already heightened tensions in the region. She warned that the execution of Yasin Malik could dangerously escalate the situation in the subcontinent.

Mushaal also called upon Congress leaders, international parliaments, and global human rights organizations to advocate for a fair trial, oppose the death penalty, and safeguard the fragile hope for peace in South Asia.
