Nation Stands with Law Enforcement Agencies to Eradicate Terrorism: President, PM

Punjab: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have paid tribute to brave citizen Liaqat who sacrificed his life at the inter-provincial area of Jand and Khushal Garh Bridge near Kohat to save the local population from a major disaster. In their separate statements, they said the entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with law enforcement agencies to eradicate menace of terrorism.

According to Radio Pakistan, the President remarked that courageous citizens like Shaheed Liaqat are a shining example of national resilience, patriotism, and collective consciousness against terrorism. The Prime Minister added that as a responsible citizen, Liaqat confronted the terrorist and asked for his identity. Upon being questioned, the terrorist detonated himself and Liaqat embraced martyrdom.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif noted that Liaqat’s sacrifice serves as a guiding light for every member of the nation. He emphasized that the nation will never forget the sacrifice of Shaheed Liaqat, highlighting that brave citizens like him are an invaluable asset to Pakistan.

Furthermore, Shehbaz Sharif prayed for the elevation of Shaheed Liaqat’s status and for patience and fortitude for his family.
