National Assembly Committee Sets Agenda and Duration for 12th Session

Islamabad: A meeting of the National Assembly’s House Business Advisory Committee, chaired by Acting Speaker Syed Mir Ghulam Mustafa Shah, determined the agenda and duration for the 12th session of the National Assembly. The current session is scheduled to continue until January 24, 2024, with proceedings set to begin at 2 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

According to a statement by National Assembly of Pakistan, the committee emphasized discussions on Question Hour and legislation focused on public welfare during the ongoing session.

The meeting saw participation from key figures, including Federal Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Senator Azam Nazir Tarar, and several members of the National Assembly: Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed, Ms. Nuzhat Sadiq, Syed Naveed Qamar, Ms. Shehla Raza, Syed Hafeezuddin, Khalid Hussain Magsi, Ms. Zartaj Gul, Malik Aamir Dogar, Noor Alam Khan, and Gul Asghar Khan.
