National Assembly Speaker Calls for Resolution of Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine Conflicts on UN Day

Islamabad: On United Nations Day, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, emphasized the need to resolve longstanding conflicts in Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine to achieve global peace. In his address, he stressed the importance of the United Nations in fostering international cooperation and peace since its founding in 1945.

According to National Assembly of Pakistan, Speaker Sadiq praised the UN’s achievements over the last 79 years but highlighted that unresolved issues like the Jammu and Kashmir and Palestine conflicts continue to hinder the realization of complete global peace. He reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to the UN Charter and its active role within the organization, noting Pakistan’s historical sacrifices for global peace.

The Speaker also underscored the importance of collective international efforts to address global challenges and affirmed Pakistan’s dedication to collaborating with the international community to further peace and development.
