National Blood Transfusion Policy Implemented Due to SIFC

Islamabad: The first-ever National Blood Transfusion Policy has been implemented due to the tireless efforts of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) following its approval by the Federal Cabinet. The SIFC played a crucial role in facilitating the policy with inter-ministerial and inter-provincial cooperation.

According to Radio Pakistan, a significant advancement has been made in the health and biotech sector with the introduction of the Plasma Fractionation method. This method is expected to bring self-sufficiency in plasma production, marking a notable milestone for the country.

The policy is anticipated to assist Pakistan in gaining access to global markets by creating export potential for plasma-derived products. This development is seen as a strategic move to boost the nation’s health sector and economic prospects.
