National Commission for Minorities to Be Formally Notified Soon: Tarar

Islamabad: Minister for Law, Justice and Human Rights Azam Nazeer Tarar has announced that the National Commission for Minorities would be formally notified soon. In his statement made on National Minorities Day, he emphasized the role of the Commission in enhancing the institutional framework dedicated to the rights and interests of minority communities in Pakistan.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister highlighted that the protection of constitutional rights for minorities remains a governmental priority. He underscored the importance of ensuring equal rights, dignity, and opportunities for all citizens. Additionally, Tarar paid tribute to the significant contributions made by Pakistan’s minority communities to the socio-economic and national development of the country.
