National Disaster Management Authority hands over 500 tents to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government for Internally Displaced Persons

Islamabad, August 25, 2014 (PPI-OT): In order to augment the efforts of provincial government in provision of relief to the displaced persons of North Waziristan, NDMA provided a further tranche of 500 tents to PDMA Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

This support is in addition to 2000 tents already provided along with other items like plastic mats, generators and large shelters. TNDMA is in constant coordination with the KP government to ensure provision of timely assistance in hour of need.
