Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf Engages with Dutch Military Leaders in Netherlands

The Hague: Pakistan’s Naval Chief, Admiral Naveed Ashraf, recently visited the headquarters of the Royal Netherlands Navy as part of a trip aimed at bolstering military cooperation between Pakistan and the Netherlands.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during his visit, Admiral Ashraf met with Vice Admiral René Tas, the Commander of the Royal Netherlands Navy. The meetings, which included discussions with other high-ranking military officials of the Netherlands, focused on enhancing bilateral military relations across various domains and emphasized the importance of strengthening these ties further.

In addition to these discussions, the Naval Chief’s visit included a tour of the DAMEN Shipyard and an inspection of the “Zeven De Provincién Class Frigate,” one of the mainstays of the Royal Netherlands Navy. This visit underscores the ongoing commitment of both nations to deepen their defense and strategic relationships.
