Naval Chief Calls for Adaptive Strategies to Address Threats

Lahore: Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf has urged participants of the 55th PN Staff Course to enhance their strategic acumen and operational foresight. He was addressing the participants at the Pakistan Navy War College in Lahore.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Naval Chief underscored the necessity for a reappraisal of traditional war fighting paradigms in future conflicts, emphasizing the importance of developing a technologically adept and intellectually robust workforce. He reaffirmed Pakistan Navy’s commitment to modernization, indigenization, and jointness in operations.

Admiral Naveed Ashraf highlighted the evolving nature of modern warfare and the emerging maritime security challenges, stressing the need for adaptive strategies to tackle both conventional and non-conventional threats. He elaborated on the maritime challenges, noting that the Indian Ocean Region remains fluid and contested, with shifting geopolitical dynamics and power rivalries affecting regional security.

The Chief of the Naval Staff congratulated the course participants on their successful completion and advised them to maintain professionalism, analytical rigor, and innovation in their future roles.
