NDMA Distributes Relief Rations to Flood-Affected Areas in Punjab

Lahore: National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) continues to provide relief rations in flood-affected areas in collaboration with the provincial governments. In Punjab, the NDMA has planned to distribute relief rations to six districts affected by the floods.

According to Radio Pakistan, the NDMA dispatched a convoy of four trucks each containing relief ration bags to Wazirabad and Hafizabad today. A ration bag weighs forty-six kilograms and contains twenty-two items. The NDMA has already sent relief goods to Narowal and Sialkot, while preparations for distributing relief rations to Chiniot and Jhang are underway.

The NDMA is committed to the rehabilitation of victims and is working with all relevant agencies.
