Spillways Opened at Rawal Dam as Water Level Rises to 1751.20 Feet

Rawalpindi: Spillways of Rawal Dam were opened on Sunday at twelve-o-clock after the water level in the dam reached 1751.20 feet.

According to Radio Pakistan, the National Disaster Management Authority issued an advance alert to all the relevant departments in this regard.

The general public is advised to remain vigilant of the situation as the opening of Rawal Dam’s spillways may cause increased water flow in the Korang Nullah.
