NDMA forecasts three spells of heatwave in Punjab, Sindh in coming days

National Disaster Management Authority has forecast three spells of heatwave in different parts of Punjab and Sindh during the current and upcoming months.

According to NDMA, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Umer Kot, Tharparkar, Tando Allah Yar, Matiari and Sanghar can be affected from the heatwave.

The temperature can rise to forty degrees centigrade this month, causing two heatwaves of three and five days respectively.

Similarly, the third five-day heat wave spell can be experienced in the first ten days of the next month, with a temperature of 45 degrees centigrade.
