NDMA Issues Rain and Thunderstorm Alert for Punjab and Northern Regions

Islamabad: The National Disaster Management Authority has issued an alert for rain accompanied by thunderstorms and hailstorms in several parts of the country over the next twelve to twenty-four hours.

According to Radio Pakistan, the NDMA’s National Emergencies Operation Center has predicted rain with strong winds and thunderstorms in numerous districts across Punjab. Additionally, a hailstorm is anticipated in a few areas. The weather advisory extends to regions of Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where rain and thunderstorms are expected until Tuesday.
