New Era of Digital Development Begins in Pakistan

Islamabad: A new era of digital development has begun in Pakistan with the support of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC). The government is taking effective steps to develop digital infrastructure for broadband users.

According to Radio Pakistan, in a significant move, the Capital Development Authority has abolished Right of Way charges for the installation of IT and fiber optic infrastructure in Islamabad. Eliminating these charges is expected to make internet services more affordable and reliable, boost private investment, and enhance digital accessibility.
