New textile policy being formulated: Asad

Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar has said a new textile policy is being formulated which will be finalized soon.

Speaking at a briefing of businessmen and industrialists in Faisalabad, he said in the second phase of the China -Pakistan Economic Corridor projects, we will upgrade our manufacturing sector on solid footing.

Responding to a question, he said the entire textile industry is developing due to prudent economic policies of the government.
