No stay in Pakistan for foreigners without legal documents: Govt

The government has reiterated that no foreigner will be allowed to stay in Pakistan without legal documents.

This resolve was expressed at a meeting held in Islamabad today with the Interior Secretary in the chair.

The meeting reviewed the repatriation of foreigners who are staying illegally in Pakistan.

According to a spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior, it was decided to expedite the process of confiscating businesses and properties of all such foreigners who are staying illegally in the country.

The spokesperson mentioned that the process of repatriation has been ongoing. He emphasized that the dignified and respectful repatriation of all illegal foreigners to their homeland is one of the government’s priorities.
