OGRA Announces Adjustments to Petroleum Prices for Upcoming Fortnight

Islamabad: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced adjustments in consumer prices for petroleum products effective from October 16, 2024, reflecting recent changes in the international market. This revision sees an increase in the price of high-speed diesel while maintaining the current price of petrol.

According to Press Information Department, the price of high-speed diesel will see an increase of Rs. 5.00 per liter, raising it to Rs. 251.29 from the previous rate of Rs. 246.29. Meanwhile, the price of motor spirit (petrol) will remain unchanged at Rs. 247.03 per liter. These adjustments are part of OGRA’s routine biweekly review process, which aligns local fuel prices with global market trends.
