Over Rs83b being spent on development of tribal districts this year: KP CM

Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mahmood Khan has said that more than eighty-three billion rupees are being spent on development of tribal districts this year.

Addressing a public gathering in Tehsil Bara of tribal district Khyber on Wednesday, he said the government has completed the process of merger of erstwhile FATA with the settled areas and extended the administrative setup to all the tribal districts.

The Chief Minister said the provincial government will allocate one billion rupees as interest free loans from tribal youth to start their own businesses.

On this occasion, Mahmood Khan announced rehabilitation of Mastak Bara road at a cost of seven billion rupees.
