PAA Clarifies Stance on Islamabad Airport Outsourcing Reports

Islamabad: The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has firmly denied recent reports suggesting that a financial bid by TERG Consortium for the outsourcing of Islamabad International Airport has been approved. The authority described these claims as unauthentic and misleading.

According to a statement by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the PAA clarified that the outsourcing matter is still under due process. The authority stressed that no decision has been made or approved at this stage regarding the financial bid or any related activities.

The PAA further emphasized that any official announcements concerning the outsourcing process will be made at an appropriate time. The authority urged media outlets to avoid misreporting on the issue, which it stated could negatively impact critical national matters.
