Pak Army to be deployed for security during Muharram

The Federal government under Article 245 of the Constitution of Pakistan has decided to deploy Army in all four provinces, Gilgit Baltistan and Islamabad Capital Territory during Muharram-ul-Haram.

According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Interior, decision about deployment of Army to aid the civil administration has been taken following the request of the provinces.
