Pakistan Advocates for Global Cooperation on Drug Challenges at UN Event

New York: Pakistan has emphasized the necessity for increased global collaboration to effectively combat the international drug issue.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Deputy Permanent Representative of Pakistan to the UN, Ambassador Usman Jadoon, detailed Pakistan’s commitment during a side event at the UN headquarters. He highlighted that the country is implementing a zero-tolerance policy against illicit drugs, which forms a core part of its broad counter-narcotics strategy.

Ambassador Jadoon underscored the importance of unified efforts at the global level to address and mitigate the challenges posed by the drug trade, urging for collective actions and shared responsibilities among nations.
