Pakistan Aims to Reclaim Global Export Market Leadership: PM

Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has expressed the government’s commitment to elevating Pakistan to the status of one of the world’s leading exporters. The Prime Minister made this statement during a meeting with British economist Professor Dr. Stefan Dercon in Islamabad.

According to Radio Pakistan, Prime Minister Sharif emphasized the past global demand for Pakistani goods and outlined his vision to restore Pakistan to its former position in the international market. He stressed the necessity of implementing economic reforms to achieve this goal.

Professor Dr. Stefan Dercon expressed his approval of the government’s economic policies and reforms. He noted the positive trend in foreign investment in Pakistan and commended the tariff rationalization policy as a significant step forward.
